Craig Rawson M.S.
Craig completed his Undergraduate degree at the La Sierra Campus of Loma Linda University in California in 1975. He started a Masters Degree in Library Sciences with an emphasis in Media Services at the University of California, Long Beach.
He has held positions as the Chairman of the Department of Media Services for Loma Linda University, La Sierra Campus, Manager of Client Services for Loma Linda University Medical Center and owned Mood Sounds Productions, a portable recording studio.
Craig was a full member of the Los Angeles Chapters of the Audio Engineering Society and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
In 1984 he switched his degree pursuit to a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Audiology at Redlands University in Redlands California where he received his Masters of Science degree. He took a Clinical fellowship position with Industrial Hearing Testing of Portland Oregon where he managed an Audiology and Hearing Instrument center and later the industrial testing operation. He received his national certification in 1986. He also received his C.A.O.H.C. certification (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) and helped teach certification classes.
Craig worked in Newfoundland, Canada, as a pediatric Audiologist, an electrophysiology Audiologist, and wrote a series of computer programs for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
When not working as an Audiologist, Craig has worked in most areas of radio broadcasting and was an assistant radio engineer. He also installs Audio Visual equipment, sound systems and Assistive Listening Devices for public buildings and churches. He recently produced a foreign language sound track for a DVD with world-wide distribution.
Craig owned his own Audiology practice providing temporary services for 12 years obtaining licenses in 12 states as an Audiologist and seven (7) states as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. He remains current in the profession by obtaining up to 20 hours of continuing education units per year and taking many specialized classes in his area of expertise.
Craig and his wife have been married for 20 years and have one child. They are currently members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lexington.
