Emma Lackey

Emma graduated from Prestonsburg High School in 1981. While in High School, she was actively involved with the drama team, cheering team, and the school newspaper. Since that time, she has been actively employed in the medical profession. She began in the billing department of a large medical practice in Prestonsburg, Ky., and gradually became more actively involved in patient care. She worked for 8 years for an Optometrist in Prestonsburg during which time she had patient contact on a daily business. She developed an acute appreciation for patient needs and concerns. Emma has been with Audiology Associates for the past four years. During that period of time, she has developed and initiated our nursing home outreach program. This service provides patient care including hearing testing, wax removal and hearing aid servicing in the nursing facilities. She has completed her internship and is now going through the certification process to become a licensed Hearing Instruments Specialist.

Emma and her husband Tommy have been married for 24 years. They reside in Prestonsburg with their three children, Michelle, Michael and Kate.
