Our Partnership With You

An audiologist is a professional who diagnoses and treats hearing and balance problems. An audiologist has received a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited university graduate program. Audiologists are trained to diagnose, manage and treat hearing or balance problems for individuals from birth through adulthood. The audiologist's role is to determine whether a patient's problem is medical or non-medical. If a patient's hearing problem is non-medical in nature, the audiologist will prescribe a treatment plan that incorporates a hearing aid or other assistive devices. Audiologists work in a variety of clinical setting: private practice, hospitals, non-profit agencies, physician's offices and schools.
